Poached Pear

Ingredients :

  • 4 pears
  • 6-8 cardamoms
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Saffron
  • Vanilla essence
  • golden caster sugar - 300 g
  • 1 litre water
  • double cream to garnish 

Method :



In a pan add 300 g of golden caster sugar and 1 litre of water, add 
4 pears peeled
6-8 cardamoms
1 cinnamon stick
Saffron
Vanilla essence

Boil for 80 min or until pears softens


Remove the pears, and boil the remaining sauce for pouring consistency


 Add the sauce and place the pear on top and serve with double cream


Enjoy Delicious pudding
