White Pappu (Urid Dal) Recipe

Ingredients :

  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Red and green chilli
  • Small onion
  • Curry leaves
  • Urid dal
  • Cumin seeds
In a pressure cooker add 200g of urid dal and cover completely with water. Add salt to taste and cook for two whistles (ten minutes). 
Temper all other ingredients in hot oil.
Combine tempered ingredients and dal. Serve with white rice and ghee.
