Palak/Spinach panir

Ingredients :


  • 200 g of spinach
  • 1 onion
  • One or two pieces of garlic 
  • 1 tomato
  • One tsp of chilli powder
  • One tsp of coriander powder
  • 1/2 spoon of turmeric pwd, 
  • Half spoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 spoon of garam masala pwd
  • 100 g of panir
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 cardamom
  • Salt and sugar
  • Oil 

Method :


Boil spinach for 3-4 minutes


In a pan, add little oil and fry onion, tomato, garlic and green chilli



Add spinach and the fried mixtrue in a mixer and into fine paste



In a pan add oil, fry panir and all dry masala/spice powders for few minutes



Add salt and sugar and paste

Cook well for 10 min

Serve with Roti/Naan/ Rice
