Mushroom Soup

Ingredients :

  • 300 g of Mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion
  • One or two pieces of garlic 
  • Pepper corns
  • One teaspoon thyme
  • One spoon of plain flour
  • 150 ml of double cream
  • Half spoon turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Oil and butter

Method :

In a pan, add little olive oil and butter. Add onion, garlic

Fry them well and add thyme and plain flour

Add chopped mushroom. Fry until softens and add water

Allow to boil for 5-7 minutes

Take a small amount of mushrooms, onion and garlic mixture

Grind in to paste and mix it back with rest of the soup

Add freshly crushed pepper and salt

Add cream at the end

Serve with olive bread or any bread slices
