Ingredients :
- 2 Tomatoes
- 2 beetroot(1 grated/1 chopped)
- 1 cup of basmati rice
- 2 bay leaf,2 clove,cinnamon, 2 cardamon(spice)
- Ginger garlic paste
- 1 onion
- One teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3 green chilli sliced
- 1 spoon garam masala powder
- lemon juice(optional)
- 1 spoon of coriander powder/mint leaves
- coriander leaves
- Salt
- Oil /ghee
Method :
Add 2 bay leaf,2 clove,cinnamon, 2 cardamon(spice),cumin seeds,green chilli in a pan. fry them in oil/ghee
Add onion, ginger-garlic paste. fry them well until raw smell disappears
Add tomatoes and beetroot, fry well for 2 min.
Garish with fresh coriander leaves/mint leaves and fresh lemon
Serve hot with raita/potato crisps
