Rasam Recipe (South Indian)

Ingredients :

  • One tomato
  • Coriander
  • One teaspoon pepper
  • One lemon (juice)
  • Two spoons toor dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Cumin seeds
  • Garlic
  • Coriander seeds
  • Salt

Method :

Grind coriander, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, toor dal, pepper and garlic.


In your vessel add some water and boil the tomatoes. Next add the paste and some more salt. Add water to your preferred amount.


Temper by frying curry leaves and oil, add this to the rasam. Cook the rasam until it boils and then garnish with coriander and lemon juice.


Serve with white rice and your preferred chicken curry. 😋
