Cabbage Sothi

Ingredients:


  • Cabbage - 300g (chopped/shredded)
  • Onion - 1 (chopped)
  • Tomato - 1 (chopped)
  • Ginger - a large piece
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Green chilies - 3
  • Cashew nuts - 10
  • Roasted channa dhaal - 1 tablespoon
  • Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - 4-5
  • Salt
  • Oil
Method:

Make a paste of ginger and garlic
In a pan, add oil and fry onion, tomato, ginger & garlic paste for few minutes until raw smell disappears


Add chopped cabbage and continue frying for 10 mins


Grind coconut, roasted chana dhaal, cashews, green chili and fennel seeds into a fine paste.


Add the ground paste to the pan and cook for further 7 mins.


Garnish with coriander and serve with idli and dosa 😋
