Vermicelli/semia recipe

Ingredients :

  • 300g vermicelli
  • 450 ml water
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Ghee
  • Three tablespoon semolina
  • Two tablespoons of cashew nuts
  • One onion
  • Coriander
  • Five chillies
  • Peas
  • Carrots

Method :

Add onion, carrots, peas, oil, chillies, coriander and salt into a kadai. Add the water and boil for five minutes.


In a small pan heat some ghee and add some cashews.


Add vermicelli and semolina, Next add the caashews and ghee.


Cook for five minutes and serve with coconut chutney.
