Poori with Madhura Aloo Recipe

Ingredients :

  • Turmeric powder - half teaspoon
  • Boiled potatoes - 3 to 4
  • Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Hing/ asafotida - half teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli chopped - 3-5
  • Dry mango powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Plain flour - for poor
  • Salt 
  • Oil

Method (poori):

Add plain flour and salt and make a soft dough.


Make a small ball and roll into a round shape.


Heat oil and deep fry the poori on both sides.

Method (Madhura Aloo): 

In oil fry jeera, green chillies and hing. Add all powders and salt and the potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes. Add two cups of water and cook for 40 minutes on medium/low heat.



Serve hot with pooris.😋
