How To Make Sweet Potato Roti

Ingredients :


    • Teaspoon of chilli flakes
    • Teaspoons of dried fenugreek/methi
    • Teaspoon of ginger garlic paste
    • Teaspoon of garam masala
    • Teaspoon of jeera powder/ground cumin
    • Two sweet potatoes 
    • Two cups of flour
    • Salt
    • Water
    • Oil

Method :

Simply mash the potato and combine all ingredients together to make a dough. Use water to make this dough into the right consistency. Split this dough into roughly round balls.


Spread some flour onto a flat surface and make the balls into an even roti shape using a rolling pin. Heat a pan and cook the roti using a little bit of oil, until the colour turns golden brown.


Once cooked you can serve with yoghurt or pickle.
