Ingredients :
- 300g chicken
- One onion
- One tomato
- One tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- Curry leaves
- Half inch cinnamon, two cardamoms and two cloves
- Coconut
- One teaspoon of sauf
- One teaspoon of pepper
- One teaspoon of garam masala
- Cashews
- Half teaspoon of turmeric
- Teaspoon of chilli powder
- Salt
- Oil
Method :
To a pressure cooker heat some oil and add onion, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves and then add the garlic ginger paste and curry leaves. Fry for two minutes then add tomato and chicken. Now add salt, turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala.
Make a smooth paste using coconut, sauf, pepper and cashews.
Add this to the salna and add water if you want it more watery. Cook for one whistle.
Serve warm with idiyappam or paratha.
