Coconut Chutney Recipe

Ingredients :

  • Coconut (as required)
  • Water (as required)
  • Three teaspoon roasted chana dal
  • One green chilli
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • One teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds (optional)
  • Oil (optional)
  • One red chilli (optional) 

Method :

Grind using water to your prefered consistency. Optional : for tempering you can gently roast mustard seeds and red chilli with oil. Add this to the chutney.


Serve with dosa, idli or semiya (see blog).
